Autry offers three full time programs in Transportation. Many short term courses exist covering topics like commercial driving and simulator training. Autry also offers transportation and heavy equipment training.
Extensive training in leading-edge automotive diagnostic and repair techniques is offered in this program. Specialty areas covered are electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, AC/heating, engine repair and engine performance.
This course provides students with training to repair or replace auto body parts using hand and power tools. Students also learn to refinish surfaces through painting or spot painting. Some topics covered are safety, welding and cutting techniques, identification and analysis of damage, measuring and texturing systems and refinishing from minor repairs to total paint jobs.
Learn troubleshooting and repair techniques for various types of power products including motorcycles, lawn equipment, side by sides and ATVs. This course covers testing for malfunctions, disassembling of engines and examination, repair and replacement of parts.
